Mate Andy Tobin returns to US Jaycees service after a hiatus in both the private sector and public sector. Andy was elected as a Foundation Board member this week.
Besides the Insurance, Consulting and Benefits Co. he had owned, Andy was CEO of an Aerospace Manufacturer, having broadened and organized a conglomerate of companies, selling it in 2004 for the ownership.
Andy then ran for public office and served 8 years in the Arizona House of Representatives. Governor Ducey later tapped Tobin to run State Banking, State Insurance and serve as a Corporation Commissioner before asking Andy to run the States Administration, all state operations. Andy had also run for a seat in the US Congress but was not successful in the general election.
You may remember when he was elected in Richmond Virginia in 1988 at 29 years old. He had two young boys who kept the Founders Home very busy that year. Andy went on to have three daughters as well and now is expecting his 4th grandchild, has an adopted grand daugher and two step grand children..
Andy now owns his own consulting firm specializing in business and government sector services, Tobin Business Solutions LLC. and lives in Paulden, AZ for the last 21 years.
