President Josh Hoveln, #106, attended the first ever National Presidential Roundtable, held January 9-11, 2026 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Roundtable funded entirely by the USJCC Foundation was intended to offer the incoming JCIUSA President with insight on a variety of subjects facing a national leader. Past Presidents Don E. Jones, Tom Bussa, Robby Dawkins, Bill Rusell, Eric Siedel along with Foundation President and Past JCI SG Benny Ellerbe(virtually), spent the 2 days listening to our new President, offering solutions, guidance and encouragement. One past President offered that only past National Presidents totally understand the challenges faced as the leader of this great national organization. Subjects discussed included, history of the organization, executive presence and influencing others, paid staff oversight verses micromanagement and how to balance, national no-profits, US and local Chambers of Commerce, government relations and growth.
